Heliopolis water polo wins the National Championship Cup

Continuing of the distinction of water games sector in Heliopolis Sporting Club, the first water polo team deservedly achieved the National Championship Cup, after defeating Al-Ahly team with a score of 14-9 during a passionate match and the distinguished performance of Heliopolis team.
The competitions witnessed a club and an honorable performance during the first match, which was won by Heliopolis Club against Al-Ahly Club, with a score of 9-5, which took place in the swimming pool complex of Heliopolis Club on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Contrary to expectations, the Al-Ahly club team was able to win a score of 13-11 during the second confrontation in the swimming pool complex of the Al-Ahly club on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Heliopolis team was able to return strongly and win the championship cup during the playoff activities, which took place in the swimming pool complex in Cairo Stadium on Monday, April 19,2021 with a score 14-9
The club’s players have achieved many honorable achievements:
Marwan Makarem (best goalkeeper in the tournament;
Saif Hisham (top scorer in the tournament for the third year in a row)
Captain of Milan Dordogic (the best technical director in the tournament)
The events of the match and the celebration of receiving the cup were attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board members, as well as the Executive Director of the Heliopolis Club, the Director of Sports Activity, the Head of the Water Games Sector and the Water Polo Committee.
