El Shorbagy renews for Heliopolis

HSC renewed the contract with the world squash champion and world number two, Mohamed El-Shorbagy, to represent the club in the international squash tournaments and the Egyptian squash league for a period of two seasons. El-Shorbagy’s last championship was winning the El-Gouna International Platinum Professional Squash Championship, and he came close to returning to the top of the PAS world rankings after narrowing the points difference between him and the first place holder.
He was also named Player of the Month for the month of May 2021 according to the PSA evaluation for his outstanding performance.
Al-Shorbagy is also preparing for the World Championship of the Great Eight, which is a tournament that includes only the first 8 players in the international classification, which will be held at Mall of Arabia on the 22nd of June 2021, after which he will fly to the United States to participate in the world championship in mid-July.
