Squash: El-Hamami & El Shorbagy won the Great Eight Silver

The Great Eight World Tour Final competitions were ended, which were held at Mall of Arabia in 6 October from 22 to 27 June 2021.
The champions of HSC participated in the tournament:
Hania Al-Hamami, ranked fifth in the world and holder of the title of the previous edition of the tournament, and Mohamed El Shorbagy, ranked second in the world, and his brother Marwan El-Shorbagy, ranked fifth in the world and holder of the title of the previous edition of the tournament.
The club’s players played strong matches and distinguished victories during the first rounds of the groups.
Hania Al-Hamami achieved the full mark in the groups and occupied the top of the second group by defeating the player Sarah Berry with a score of 2 / zero, the player Amanda Sobhi 0/2 and the player Joel King 1/2.
And she won the semi-final against the French player Camille Serme 1/2 and reached the final match, which she lost 1/3 to Nouran Gohar, ranked second in the world, and won the silver medal.
During the group competitions, Mohamed El-Shorbagy achieved two consecutive victories over the player Mustafa Assal with a score of 2/1 and the player Ali Farag, ranked first in the world, with a score of 2/1, and he lost to Marwan’s his brother with a score of 1/3.
Mohamed El-Shorbagy qualified for the semi-finals and beat Paul Cole 1/2 and he reached the final match, which he lost to Mustafa Asal 1-3 and won the silver medal.
